The RUYAGE UV5D is a rugged 10W IP67 waterproof 6-band analog walkie talkie designed for outdoor activities, radio enthusiasts, field operations, and professional communication.

It combines four programmable transmit-and-receive frequency ranges with receive-only AM airband and FM broadcast coverage. With 256 channels, a large LCD display, a 2600mAh rechargeable battery, and an included programming cable, the UV5D provides flexible communication and monitoring functions in one handheld radio.

Important: The six supported frequency ranges do not all support transmission. The 108–136 MHz AM airband range and 65–108 MHz FM broadcast range are receive only.

Six-Band Frequency Coverage

The RUYAGE UV5D supports six frequency ranges for flexible analog communication and signal reception:

• 200–260 MHz: analog transmit and receive
• 350–390 MHz: analog transmit and receive
• 400–520 MHz: analog transmit and receive
• 108–136 MHz: AM airband receive only

Transmit capability does not mean that every frequency may legally be used. Users must operate only on frequencies, power levels, and radio services authorized in their country or region.

AM Airband Reception

The UV5D supports 108–136 MHz AM receive-only coverage, allowing users to receive compatible airband signals within the supported range.

The radio cannot transmit on the airband range. Signal availability depends on location, distance from the transmitter, antenna position, terrain, and local radio activity.

Compatible Analog Public-Safety Signal Reception

The UV5D may receive compatible, unencrypted analog public-safety transmissions that fall within its supported receive ranges.

It is not a dedicated digital trunking scanner and cannot decode encrypted, digital, or unsupported trunked radio systems. Many modern police and emergency communication systems may therefore not be receivable with this radio.

IP67 Waterproof and Dust-Resistant Protection

The IP67-rated housing is designed to protect the radio against dust and temporary water exposure under controlled test conditions. It is suitable for rain, wet job sites, hiking, camping, fishing, and demanding outdoor environments.

Communication distance may reach up to approximately 6.2 miles or 10 kilometers under ideal, unobstructed line-of-sight conditions.

Actual range is normally shorter in cities, buildings, forests, vehicles, mountains, and other environments containing obstacles or radio interference. Output power alone does not guarantee a specific communication distance.
